We offer a sailing fast track service for Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster which are particularly useful for candidates wishing to embark on a career in the marine sectors such as Super-Yacht crew or commercial angling etc.
The Day Skipper qualification reduces the time at sea requirement from 6 months to 2 months for candidates wanting to qualify as Super-Yacht Ratings. The Yachtmaster qualification is valid for Skipper of vessels up to 200 tonnes and Officer of the Watch on vessels up to 500 tonnes. The courses include all the modules required as pre-requisites for the relevant qualification and as an MCA accredited STCW 95 commercial school you can rest assured you certificates will be valid worldwide.
You will normally be accommodated onboard one of the yachts during your courses. We use Bavaria 36, 37 and 45 yachts all of which are under 5 years old and in the case of the 36 and 45 are 2011 models. The course is all-inclusive whilst onboard the yacht with a food allowance paid every week for the crew to victual, fuel and berth. You will have one of our full-time professional skippers with you at all times during your practical training and the course co-ordinator is always available whilst carrying out the shorebased elements. Shorebased elements do not include food and accommodation but we can normally find a yacht for you to sleep onboard if you are taking part outside of our busy season. All prices include VAT

Our Commitment to you
We will provide at least the minimum seatime and mileage along with expert tuition required for your chosen qualification. You should note however that it may sometimes be necessary for you to add to this in the form of extra study or more experience as we advise you in order to gain your qualification. Taking this course is not a guarantee of a Pass in your final qualification; however we will keep you fully informed of your progress throughout you course. Sometimes we may not be able to make the courses run sequentially due to numbers on each course and the experience levels of the different course members but we will endeavour to keep the sequence as smooth as possible and keep you informed at all times.
