We are a friendly and professional RYA training centre situated on the beautiful English Riviera in South Devon. Torbay is flanked by the towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. This is an ideal place to enjoy your RYA sailing course using the sheltered waters of Torbay and local estuaries such as Dartmouth and Salcombe. The coastline here is known to be one of the most picturesque in the UK and it's warm climate with safe, uncluttered waters allow you to gain maximum enjoyment from your RYA training course. We offer sailing courses including Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and RYA Yachtmaster. Our 9 day Combined Day Skipper Shorebased-Practical courses are popular if you want to gain qualifications quickly. We also offer supervised sailing refreshers for when you need the cobwebs blown away before your summer charter. We aren't just a sailing school, we also offer professional training in Motor Boat, Powerboat and Shorebased theory providing friendly, high quality instruction in all our courses. We are well known for our well equipped boats, our sociable instructors and the excellent quality of food and drink we provide during practical motor and sailing instruction. Motor and Sailing practical courses include all meals and accommodation on board our vessels. Our motor cruising courses cover from Helmsman to Yachtmaster. Both our Motor courses and sailing mileage builders take in places such as the Channel Islands, France and the Isles of Scilly. Our Shorebased Courses cover One day VHF Radio, Sea Survival, First Aid and Diesel engine courses to 5 day intensive navigation theory from Day Skipper to Yachtmaster Ocean.
